Our Story

Hello everyone! My name is Yelena Karapunarly. I was born in Gagauzia, which is a small autonomous region in southern Moldova. Creative work and design have always been my biggest passion. I have been volunteering as a graphic designer in the Slavic Baptist Church in Salem, Oregon, and at international children's summer camps. I have designed Christmas play invitations, brochures, children’s puzzle magazine, stage decorations, and artistic activities for the annual children’s Christian summer camps. A few years ago, I decided to advance my professional career by enrolling in a Graphic Design program at Chemeketa Community College. The Visual Communication program helped me to develop new skills and to become a better graphic designer. I enjoy designing branding, logos, and illustrations. Also, I specialize in vector art. Exploring crafting and photography is one of my favorite pass times.
